Our Vision:

The vision of APlus Care4All Pty Ltd is to be able to provide support to individuals and families through a holistic approach. APlus Care4All Pty Ltd will ensure that all members of the family are involved and included as much or as little as the individual requests.

APlus Care4All Pty Ltd aims to put the HOOT back into the lives of those who use ours services through challenging the individual to LIVE life and enjoy every moment that they have. Challenge their own limitations to achieve the achievable.

The Story so Far…

The story of APlus Care4All Pty Ltd has developed from longstanding involvement in the industry and seeing an invaluable need for support for people within the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas for all ages with or without a disability.

Current services provided by APlus Care4All Pty Ltd are community access, in home support, overnight support, complex care for individual support, domestic services, lawn mowing, transport, short-term respite and supported shopping.

APlus Care4All Pty Ltd is a registered provider with NDIS. We love the work we provide and are continuously evolving forward with more expansion through-out the years with more supports available through NDIS. We pride ourselves in encouraging our participants to expand their horizons and be all that they can be with the Support provided by APlus Care4All Pty Ltd.

Through this support participants can achieve more than they ever thought they would or dared to dream.

APlus Care4All Pty Ltd is a privately own small business operating out of East Branxton, NSW. Our head office is located in Kurri Kurri, NSW.

The company services the Hunter, providing support in Disability and Child minding. All our support workers have current Working With Children Checks and Police Checks.

Business founder Rae Phelps established APlus Care4All in October 2014, accessing the NEIS (New Employment Incentive Scheme) program via the Hunter Region Business Enterprise Centre at Kurri.

In 2015, Ms. Phelps took out a major national award, receiving the best new business trophy at the National NEIS Association awards. Also in 2015,  at the Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards, Ms. Phelps received NEIS Business of The Year.

In both 2016 and 2017 Ms. Phelps and APlus Care4All Pty Ltd were finalists at Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards for NEIS Business of The Year.

APlus Care4All provides support in the home and the community, to families with members who have a disability and explores and advises on choices and alternatives available.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme presented an opportunity, she felt, based on her disposition.

“I’ve always been aware of the struggles of people with disabilities,” Ms Phelps said.

“I have a passion to help people realize their goals and be all that they can be, and not be limited by people’s expectations.”

Those efforts were recognized at the Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards in September, when A-Plus Care4All received the NEIS Business of the Year trophy.

Through-out the years Ms. Phelps has prided herself on improving her knowledge and understanding of people with disabilities. She did this by furthering her education and obtaining a Certificate III in Home and Community services and a Diploma of Community Services.
Ms. Phelps also furthered her knowledge of running a business by obtaining her Certificate IV in Small Business Management.

The business marked its first anniversary in October 2015 and has successfully been running through-out the years. We have a wonderful team of approximately 20 staff who pride themselves on being the best support workers they can be.

The APlus Care4All Pty Ltd team is made of 6 important key members who assist in keeping APlus Care4All running.

Each of our members bring individual skills to the team enabling us to provide quality supports.

Raeshel Phelps

Rae Phelps is the Founder, CEO and Director of APlus Care4All Pty Ltd.

After being around people with a disability her whole life, as well as having a disability herself, Rae had a dream to support people of the Hunter, and found an opportunity to make that dream a reality.

Rae established APlus Care4All Pty Ltd in October 2014 via the New Employment Incentive Scheme (NEIS)

Throughout the years, Rae has prided herself on improving her knowledge and understanding of people with a disability. She did this by furthering her education and and obtaining her Certificate III in Home & Community Services followed by a Diploma of Community Services.

Rae also obtained a Certificate IV in Small Business Management to extend her knowledge of how to properly run her business.

As CEO and Director of APlus Care4All Pty Ltd, Rae is supported by a close knit family based management team, all of who are passionate about the vision, mission and future of APlus Care4All.

Raeshel’s qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Home and Community Services
  • Certificate III in Financial Services
  • Certifictae III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts
  • Certificate IV in Community Services

Linda"Sue" Allen

Sue Allen is the House Manager at our short-term accommodation and respite home located at Branxton.

Sue is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the respite home, and is also a support worker.

She has the extensive experience in the industry including Singleton High School as a teachers aide for special needs students & Calvary Cessnock Aged Care Facility

Sue’s qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Certificate III in Home & Community Care

Sue is passionate about her role at APlus Care4All, and is highly regarded by her colleagues.

Kirsty Austen

Kristy Austen is the Office Manager at our head office located in Kurri Kurri.

Her role is to lead and support APlus Care4All’s service delivery team by providing effective leadership to our support workers, administration staff and management.

Kristy manages the processes and functions underpinning the organisations, including management of workload, evaluation and quality management, human resources and information systems.

Kristy has over 10-Years experience as a Quality Insurance Manager across a variety of industries, including environmental testing, animal pharmaceutical manufacturing, and a contract research laboratory.

Kristy’s qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Certificate III in Business Administration
  • Internal Quality Auditor Certificate
  • Diploma of Quality Auditing
  • Diploma of Business Administration
  • Diploma of Human Resources Management
Nattina Phelps

Nattina Phelps is one of our managers primarily located at our head office in Kurri Kurri 

As well as assisting management in multiple tasks, Nattina has the important roles of rosters and payroll.

Nattina joined the APlus Care4All team in 2017 with her little sister Ceren. Starting out as an Administrative Assistant, Nattina has shown her loyalty and strong work ethic, working her way up the staff hierarchy to her current role as Assistant Manager.

Nattina’s qualifications include:

  • Statement of Attainment in Business Administration
  • Diploma of Business Administration
Shannon Owen

Shannon Owen is our new Administration Team Member. Her role as an Administrative Assistant includes assisting Kristy and Nattina to fulfill their duties, scanning, filing and general administration activities.

Although new to the role, Shannon has proved she is hard-working and fits into the team well.

Shannon’s qualifications include;

  • Certificate III in Accounts Administration
Ceren Phelps

Ceren Phelps is our other Administrative Assistant and our youngest employee. She is primarily located at the Big house to assists Rae and Sue.

Ceren joined the APlus Care4All team in 2017 as a Junior Administrative Assistant alongside her big sister Nattina.
